Mike Weir Wins Fry's Electronics Open, Ties Canadian Win Record
In 2007, Mike Weir, the 2003 Masters champion, won his eighth career PGA Tour title, the Fry's Electronics Open in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was his first title since the 2004 Nissan Los Angeles Open. Weir shot a two-under par 68 to claim a one-shot victory over Mark Hensby. With the win, Weir tied George Knudson as the Canadian golfers with the most wins on the PGA Tour.
